What started as a vision to bring something special to celebrations has grown into an experience centered around connection, atmosphere, and care. Gemma’s story — "Why I built Lumière Bubble Co. "
I was 19 when I left my hometown across the sea and arrived in Texas with no money, no connections, and no clear plan — just a dream to build a life of my own. I earned two master’s degrees, climbed the corporate ladder in pharmaceutical manufacturing, and found stability in a field defined by structure, sterility, and strict rules.
But somewhere along the way, I realized I was succeeding in a life that didn’t feel like mine.
I had everything I was told to chase — a well-paying job, a house, sense of security and comfort. But I didn’t have time. I didn’t have presence. And I didn’t have the joy I saw in fleeting memories of my father, who passed when I was young — a man who worked hard but didn’t get the chance to enjoy the life he was building. That loss shaped me more than I admitted, and for years, I buried it under achievement.
Lumière Bubble Co. is my way of rewriting the script. It’s a luxury mobile bar, yes — but more than that, it’s an invitation to pause. To celebrate the now. To gather the people you love and toast to something that has meaning. I created Lumière for the moments I wish we’d had more of — and for the people who are still here to experience them.
I bring the same discipline and excellence from my corporate past, but now I channel it into joy, creativity, and deeply personal connection. Every detail matters. Every guest matters. Because I know what it’s like to lose time — and I’ve made it my mission to help others honor it while they can.
